Our philanthropic event is Crescent Classic and we raise money for Camp Fire USA , which is our philanthropy. Last fall we had more to our event by including our core values.
There were four categories added that each Fraternity and Sorority had to complete: Love, labor, learning and loyalty. They had to do activities such as coin drives, make camp kits, and get to know our sorority sisters.
On the final day of the week there was an all day soccer tournament. Camp Fire USA is one of the nation's leading not-for-profit youth development organizations, serving over 750,000 participants annually.
Founded in 1910 and headquartered in Kansas City , Missouri, Camp Fire USA provides all-inclusive, coeducational programs in hundreds of communities across the United States . We donate money to the Sacramento location, where is it used to help enhance programs for young women and girls. All of the Gamma Phi Beta chapters together raise $57,000 for Camp Fire USA .
